Apply now for Fulbright Scholar Program

April 15, 2015

Applications are now open for the Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, which supports teaching and research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields. More than 800 grants in more than 125 countries are available. Fulbright recently introduced new options to better accommodate the interests and commitments of scholars, including increasing flexibility, impact and scope of the program. The Core Program also includes Distinguished Chair awards, a group of highly selective awards intended for eminent scholars with records of significant publications and outstanding teaching. Deadline to apply is Aug. 1.

Applications for the Fulbright Specialist program, which promotes linkages between U.S. scholars and professionals and their counterparts at host institutions overseas, are accepted year-round. This program awards grants for short-term collaborative projects in more than 140 countries and 24 academic disciplines.
