International Education Week
The Office of International Programs is excited to invite Wayne students, faculty and staff to participate in a fun and informative week of events to celebrate International Education Week, Nov. 13-17, 2023! "Wayne State is remarkable for many things, but our ability to open doors to people of all backgrounds, races, creeds, and walks of life is our proudest legacy. And our unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice continues to be our North Star." (resource)
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that focuses on the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The goal is to prepare U.S. students for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States. This year's theme: "International Education is the Future"!
International Education Week events this year are majority in-person. For all events, please register if you plan to attend so that we have an accurate count for attendance and refreshments.
