The Office of Study Abroad & Global Programs can provide you with passport photos that meet the U.S. Department of State guidelines. You can make an appointment in advance by calling our office at 313-577-3207 or emailing us at studyabroad@wayne.edu. Please arrive to your scheduled appointment on time.

Two, high-quality photos cost $14.95. Please note that if you are going on a Wayne State-sponsored study abroad trip, the cost of one set of passport photos is included in the cost of your program. You must pay for your photos using the Study Abroad CashNet system before arriving for your appointment. If you need more than one set of photos, make sure to adjust the quantity when you pay online.  

Passport Photo Guidelines

You should review the State Department guidelines and check out examples of acceptable photos before making your appointment. Below are some general rules to follow: 

• Provide a full face view. 

• Don't wear your glasses. 

• Wear clothing that you would wear on a daily basis. 

• Don't wear a uniform or camouflage.  

• No hats or head coverings, unless you wear a head covering or hat for religious or medical purposes. 

• No headphones or wireless hands-free devices (Bluetooth, etc.).
