OISS cordially invites you to attend the following workshops scheduled throughout the year.

Instructions for signing-up on the OISS Website:
  1. Click on the date/time/location of the event you want to attend. This should open the event on the OISS calendar in another window.
  2. Click on the "RSVP Now" button on the right of the screen.
  3. Fill in your name and email information
  4. Click the RSVP button at the bottom of the page. If you do not see the "RSVP Now" button the event may be full. Please contact OISS to check availability.

Hilberry C, Student Center		 How to Collaborate with Multi-Cultural Groups/Teams This is an extremely rich simulation in which participants complete tasks in multicultural groups. Participants will experience the dynamics, processes, advantages and disadvantages of collaborating across such differences as nationality, culture, gender, age, function and organization.

Hilberry A, Student Center		 How to Communicate Across Cultures This is a short, fun simulation designed to increase empathy for and enhance the productivity of people from different linguistic backgrounds. This fun simulation will give you an opportunity to experience how communicating in a second language affects our thought patterns, communication styles and self-perceptions.
