Canadian softball players step up to the plate and lead the way with academic honors

The Wayne State University softball program had eight GLIAC All-Academic Excellence recipients for the 2020 season, which tied for the most in school history. WSU had 10 total All-Academic honorees (eight Excellence, two Academic), which marks the seventh straight year the Warriors have had at least 10 student-athletes receive All-Academic accolades from the league office. Wayne State has had 105 GLIAC All-Academic honorees over head coach Gary Bryce's last 10 seasons at the helm, and 175 recipients of academic laurels in the last 18 years.
