Career Services Offering Job and Career Skills Classes
Wayne State's Career Services Office is offering two free job and career skills courses:
UCS 0991 is a 0 credit course that offers S and U grades in only six weeks. While ideal for freshmen and sophomores, it is open to all enrolled WSU students. It is designed to introduce career planning and allow students to explore their career interests and values, learn how their major relates to the world of work, and find more career choices. UCS 0992 is also free, 0 credit course for S or U grades. It is also open to all currently enrolled WSU students, but it is particularly ideal for juniors and seniors that have declared their major and are looking to further their career planning with internships and other experiential learning. This 8 week course is designed to prepare students for professional work experience and will address critical job search skills such as resume marketing, interviewing and networking. (UCS 0992 Flier)
