Ethnic/cultural student orgs: Apply now to host food booth at Global Fest
Ethnic-cultural student groups recognized by the Dean of Students Office are invited to apply to participate in the 47th annual Global Festival on Wednesday, Sept. 20, on Gullen Mall.
Sponsored by the Office of International Programs, Global Fest is an opportunity for multicultural student groups to sell homemade food and desserts to earn money for their organization. The event, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in front of the Undergraduate Library, draws hundreds of students, faculty and staff who can learn about your group while enjoying delicious traditional ethnic cuisine.
Global Fest is the perfect time to meet fellow Warriors while making bank for your group. Participants must follow specific food-handling regulations that will be outlined in advance of the event.
For details about participating in Global Fest, contact Ann Capela in the Office of International Students and Scholars. Email her at cu5912@wayne.edu or call at 313-577-0116.
Space is limited, so apply now to represent your group during this popular campus event.
