Macedonian ambassador to talk about NATO membership Nov. 7

Join the office of International Programs for a special presentation, "Expanding NATO Membership," by Ambassador H.E Vasko Naumovski of the Republic of Macedonia.

Ambassador to the United States since 2014, Naumovski is an expert in international relations, European integration and international law. During his tenure as deputy president in charge of European affairs for the republic, Macedonia received the first recommendation to begin negotiations to join the European Union and visa liberalization for traveling in the EU.

Naumovski is a professor of international relations at the Department of Law "Iustinianus Primus" at the St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, from which he received his bachelor's, master`s and Ph.D.

The presentation, at 10 a.m. Nov. 7 in the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, Room 2242 at the Law School, is open to the public. Reserve your seat at rsvp.wayne.edu/Macedonian-ambassador.
