Greta Holtz (center), U.S. ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, visited with staff from the Office of International Programs at the Global Higher Education Exhibition in Muscat April 20. Dean-Michael Lynn, a faculty member in the English Language Institute, and Jaclyn Assarian, associate director of international programs, enjoyed breakfast with Holtz and the cultural affairs staff prior to heading to the exhibition. Holtz, a Birmingham native, has focused her career in the Middle East but always makes time for WSU, which currently has 6 Omani students.
